Talking about myself doesn't come naturally; I'm rather uncomfortable with the subject. I don't call myself an artist - if there's any beauty in my work, it comes from geological forces - time, heat, pressure - that happened long before any of us existed...and long before man came along with his definition of what beauty is. I only gather the raw materials and speed up the process of weathering and erosion to bring out the beauty that the earth already created so many millions of millennia before.
As to who I am... In my most recent life, I was a Senior Technical Writer and a Senior Support Specialist working with companies to manage documentation and technical manuals. I was also Editor of Glass on Metal Magazine, a magazine uniquely focused on the art of vitreous enamel. I was married to a very talented enamel artist (RIP Jaime) and we are parents to three incredible young adults. Once upon a time, we traveled the country on the arts and crafts show circuit, and now I hope to continue on that path again and share what the earth presents to me.
BTW, here's a picture of my granddaughter, Ivy.
